Terms of Service

Forecaster is a social platform for crypto callers. It is not live yet. This site is the waitlist for it: you sign in, you upvote the callers you want listed, and if a caller you were early on gets listed, you come in alongside them.

Nothing on this site is a product, a service, a token, a security, an investment, or an offer of any of those. Being on the waitlist is not a promise of access. Access to the beta is granted at our discretion, in batches we size, and we may never grant it to you.

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

You must be at least 18 years old.

You must not be located in, or a resident of, a country subject to comprehensive sanctions, and you must not be on any sanctions list that applies to us.

You are responsible for whether your own local law permits you to use this site. We do not check that for you.

Sign in is through X. When you sign in, X tells us your account identifier, your handle, your display name, your profile picture and your follower count. What we do with those is in the Privacy Policy.

One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain more upvotes is a breach of these terms, and we will remove the accounts and the upvotes behind them.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. If your X account is compromised, tell us and secure it with X.

An upvote is a signal, not a possession. It is not property, it cannot be bought, sold, transferred, gifted or redeemed, and it has no cash value.

An upvote is permanent. There is no undo. The ordinal it was given, meaning whether you were the first or the four hundredth person to upvote that caller, is fixed at the moment you cast it, because taking one back would change the ordinal of everybody behind you.

A limited number of the earliest upvotes on each caller carry admission alongside that caller. How many, and how many any one person can hold at once, are product settings we may change at any time, including after you have cast an upvote.

We may remove upvotes we believe were farmed, automated, bought, or cast by duplicate accounts, and we may do so without notice.

The callers listed on this site are real public X accounts, compiled from public follow data. Their presence here is not an endorsement by them, an affiliation with them, a partnership, or any indication that they have agreed to anything.

No account appears here as signed up, admitted or listed unless the person behind it signed in and asked for that themselves.

If an account is yours and you want it removed from the directory, email legal@test.forecaster.gg from an address we can tie to the account, or message us from the account on X. We will remove it.

No automation. No bots, scripts, headless browsers or any other means of casting upvotes or creating accounts other than by using the site as a person.

No buying or selling upvotes, accounts or waitlist positions, and no offering to.

No impersonating another person, another account, or us.

No scraping, bulk downloading, or systematically copying the caller directory or any part of this site.

No attempting to break, overload, probe or reverse engineer the site or the systems behind it.

We may suspend or remove any account for any of the above, and we do not have to tell you first.

Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

Rankings on this site describe who visitors want listed. They are not a rating of anyone's skill, accuracy or trustworthiness, and they say nothing about the future performance of any person, token or asset.

The Forecaster name, brand, design and site are ours. Do not copy them.

Your X profile information stays yours. By signing in you give us permission to display your handle, display name and profile picture on this site in connection with your upvotes and your place on the waitlist, and to do the same in a share card you generate yourself.

We may change this site, the mechanic, the rationing, these terms, or shut the waitlist down entirely, at any time, for any reason.

If we change these terms materially we will change the date at the top and, where we reasonably can, say so on the site. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of the change.

This site is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, correct, uninterrupted, or free of errors.

To the maximum extent the law allows, Forecaster is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, and our total liability to you for anything connected to this site is limited to one hundred United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow those limits. Where that is the case, they apply to you only as far as the law allows.

These terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands, and any dispute is heard there.
