Privacy Policy

You sign in with X. We store what X tells us about your public profile, plus the upvotes you cast and when you cast them. We use it to run the waitlist and to decide who gets into the beta.

We do not sell it. We do not share it with advertisers. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no third party tracker on this site.

From X, when you sign in: your numeric X account identifier, your handle, your display name, your profile picture, and your follower count at that moment. We ask X for read access to your public profile only. We never ask for permission to post, and we cannot post as you.

From your use of the site: which callers you upvoted, the order you were in on each of them, when you upvoted, which screen you did it from, and whether you arrived through somebody else's share link. If you did, we record who shared it, so they get credit.

A session cookie. One cookie, set by us, holding a signed record of who you are signed in as. It is httpOnly, meaning no script on the page can read it, and it exists so you stay signed in between visits.

Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, including IP addresses, which exist to keep the site up and to catch abuse.

We do not collect your email address, your phone number, your date of birth, your location beyond what an IP address implies, your wallet, or any payment details. There is nothing to pay for here.

We do not read your posts, your direct messages, your followers or who you follow.

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers. If we add analytics later, this document changes before it ships.

To run the waitlist: to know who you are when you come back, to count your upvotes once, and to work out who is admitted when a caller gets listed.

To show the boards: upvote counts, rankings, and the handles and pictures of the people who upvoted a caller.

To keep it honest: to catch duplicate accounts, farmed upvotes and automated signups.

To tell you when you are in. If we contact you it is through X.

Our legal basis, where that concept applies to you, is our legitimate interest in operating a waitlist you asked to join, and your consent, given when you signed in.

Our hosting provider and our database provider, both of which process it on our instruction and only to run the site.

X, in the sense that the sign in happens there. Their handling of it is theirs, under their own policy.

Other visitors, but only the parts that are already public: your handle, your display name, your profile picture, and which callers you upvoted.

Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, if we are.

We do not sell your data, and we have never done so.

The site lists real public X accounts compiled from public follow data. For each we hold the handle, display name, profile picture, follower count and a public bio derived category.

Those people are not our users, they have agreed to nothing, and nothing on this site claims otherwise. No account shows as signed up, admitted or listed unless the person behind it signed in and chose that.

If an account is yours and you want it gone, email legal@test.forecaster.gg or message us from the account on X, and we will remove it.

For as long as the waitlist runs, and afterwards for as long as we need it to run the product you were admitted to.

If you ask us to delete your account we delete your row and your upvotes. Deleting your upvotes changes the ordinals of everybody who upvoted after you, so this is not reversible and we cannot put you back.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Email legal@test.forecaster.gg and we will act within 30 days.

You can also revoke our access from your X account settings at any time, under connected apps. That stops any future access. It does not delete what we already hold, so email us as well if that is what you want.

If you are in the UK or the EU you have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

On servers in the European Union and the United States. If you are outside those places, using this site means your data is transferred there.

This site is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we delete it.

If this policy changes we change the date at the top. If the change is material we will say so on the site.
